During a Final Fantasy 30th anniversary event held today in Yokohama, Final Fantasy XV Game Design Section Manager Kenichi Shida made a few announcements about future updates to the game.

First of all, the Episode Prompto DLC is now (predictably) slated for release at the end of June, but we now learn that it will receive a theme song created by Final Fantasy XI Composer Naoshi Mizuta.

Incidentally, Shida-san also mentioned that more information will come next week at E3, but it will include new gameplay modes like the previous DLC Episode Gladiolus did.

There are news for those interested in free content as well: Shida-san revealed that an update at the end of the month will include the "Cup Noodle Style" for Noctis, and the already showcased "Regalia Type-D" able to travel off road.

In the gallery below you can check out the slides used to present the news, including a screenshot of the final form of the Regalia Type-D.

If you want to see the Regalia Type-D in action, you can check out the first work in-progress video shared a while ago, and the second. You can also watch the latest teaser trailer of the Episode Prompto DLC.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One.
