Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack with Over 90 Tracks Announced for Japan in Three Editions

Today Square Enix announced the upcoming release of the Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack, that will hit the Japanese shelves on December 21st, right in time for Christmas.

The sountrack includes over 90 tracks by Yoko Shimomura as the main composer. It will come in both CD and Blu Ray, with the blu-ray version recorded in 96kHz / 24bit.

The standard CD version will cost 3,800 yen and will include 4 CD, the standard Blu Ray version will cost 5,000 yen on a single disk. The Limited Special Edition will cost  9,074 yen and will include the following.

  • 1 Blu Ray disk with the soundtrack
  • 1 Blu Ray bonus disk with 250 tracks from the past Final Fantasy games, plus 6 piano arrangements from Final Fantasy XV
  • 1 CD
  • Large-size booklet
  • B5-size storage box
