In an interview with GameSpot, Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata revealed more information on Final Fantasy XV VR Experience, which was revealed at Sony’s E3 Press Conference yesterday.

When asked if Final Fantasy XV VR Experience was separate from the main game, he said the following:

“We aren’t thinking about marketing it as a separate project at all.  It really is something extra to be enjoyed by the people who purchased the game. We’re thinking it’ll probably be a DLC release later for the game.  It really is our core belief that we should satisfy the people who buy the game that we’ve made as much as possible; we also want them to play for as long as possible too, so it really does help with that.”

While Final Fantasy XV VR Experience still has no release date, Final Fantasy XV will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on September 3o.
