New Final Fantasy XV Update Brings Crossover With Hironobu Sakaguchi's Terra Wars, Extended Trailer

Final Fantasy XV players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC can now enjoy a brand new quest bound to the Terra franchise by Final Fantasy's own dad.

Today Square Enix released a brand new update for Final Fantasy XV.

The update, numbered 1.26, comes to all available platforms, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and includes the crossover content announced during Tokyo Game Show.

On top of an info menu added to the title screen, we get a full-fledged single-player questline crossing over with Terra Wars and playable during chapter five. The crossover content also includes some cosmetic items for Comrades ad music tracks for the Regalia’s radio from Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the mobile game DJ Nobunaga.

If you’re unfamiliar with Terra Warsit’s an upcoming mobile game by Hironobu Sakaguchi’s Mistwalker Corporation. Yes, dad is back into Final Fantasy, in a way.

Alongside the patch, Square Enix released an extended trailer, letting us meet Sara from the Terra universe. Now, if only the promised console version of Terra Battle could look like this…
