Final Fantasy XVI Producer Naoki Yoshida has shared some interesting details about Final Fantasy XVI recently. During a NieR Re[in]carnation stream, YoshiP has stated that Final Fantasy XVI's trailer is done and completed. There are certain reasons for the announcement to get delayed, but one can expect it to drop pretty soon. This should be great news for fans who have been eagerly waiting for more details about the upcoming title.

Final Fantasy XVI Producer YoshiP Shares New Trailer Release Details

When it comes to how soon we can expect the trailer, there are a number of speculations around that. Some believe that we will be getting one in an upcoming PlayStation event while others are placing their bets on the Summer Games Fest. For the record, the Summer Games Fest is about a month away, with the event slated to take place on June 9th. That being said, considering the fact that a God of War State of Play has been ruled out by multiple sources for the near future, we might as well get a dedicated PlayStation event for FF16.

Moreover, Yoshi further adds that the devs are actively working on polishing and optimizing the game until the release, as it is almost complete at this point. This likely suggests that we are not that far away from the launch of the game. Final Fantasy XVI was one of the few games which didn't have a release date back at the PlayStation launch event, with the news update last year getting delayed to 2022. With Sony having no major release lined up for this year apart from God of War: Ragnarok, it will not be surprising to see the game launch this year itself.
