At long last Square Enix finally announced a Japanese release date and related details for the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster. The game will hit the shelves of the archipelago of the Rising Sun the day after Christmas, on December the 26th.

The title will come in five different packages: The PS3 version will include both games fir 6,400 yen in digital download and 7.140 yen at retail.

The PS Vita version of each game will be sold separately for 3,600 yen for the digital download and 3,990 for the packaged card. In addition to that a "Twin Pack" including both will also be available for  6,400 yen in digital download and 7.140 yen at retail, matching the PS3 offer.

Finally, the "Resolution Box" will include the two games for the Vita, and a custom PCH-2000 PS Vita console for 27,069 yen.

With the announcement Square Enix also released a stunning piece of artwork featuring Yuna and Tidus, that you can enjoy below together with a picture of the back of the special PS Vita included in the Resolution Box bundle.
