Fire Emblem: Awakening Gets Launch Day DLC…and it’s Marth!

on April 10, 2012 9:30 PM

Nintendo has dished the scoop on the first DLC for the upcoming 3DS SRPG Fire Emblem: Awakening. It will be available from the day of the game’s Japanese launch – which is April 19th, in case you didn’t know. The DLC will be Hero King Marth, who should be instantly recognizable to any longtime series fan. Did you know that Marth is the character mained by the Super Smash Bros. world champion? I’ll bet you didn’t…most people don’t.

Ahem…anyway,¬†Fire Emblem: Awakening¬†currently has no publicized North American localization plans, but I doubt Nintendo would slouch on such a prized series. Besides, it’s confirmed for Europe which means our odds are pretty good. That means you can go ahead and get hype…or can you?
