The Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter revealed new details on the upcoming Fire Emblem Three Houses Cindered Shadows side story DLC. It revealed all the playable characters of the DLC, confirming that Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude are all playable together. Seeing the trailer for the Cindered Shadows DLC, which is included below, showed all three leaders together, many fans already guessed they would be playable together in the DLC, but we now have official confirmation it's happening.

The tweet mentions how the three house leaders work together with the main character to solve the mysteries of the Abyss, where the Cindered Shadows DLC takes place.

We also learned that unlike the main game, where it's possible to recruit characters from other houses, the Cindered Shadows DLC has a fixed amount of playable characters.

We have the four characters part of the new fourth house, the Ashen Wolves: Yuri, Balthus, Constance, and Hapi. Then we have the Houses leaders. Lastly, one student from each of the Black Eagles, Blue Lions and Golden Deer houses are playable. They are Linhardt, Ashe, and Hilda. If you include the main character Byleth, the DLC has 11 playable characters.

New illustrations for Linhardt, Ashe, and Hilda by character designer Chinatsu Kurahana were published for the occasion.

The Fire Emblem Three Houses Cindered Shadows DLC will launch on February 13. It's also included in the game's Expansion Pass.
