August 26, 2017

Today Nintendo hosted a stage event at Gamescom, giving an extensive glimpse on the action of the upcoming Musou-style game Fire Emblem Warriors.

Mainly, we get to see four characters in action, the pegasus rider Hinoka, the wyvern rider Camilla, the archer Takumi and the knight Xander. Other characters also appear sporadically, including Robin, Cordelia, Ryoma and Corrin.

The game was played live on Nintendo Switch, rather obviously. As usual, it shows its Koei Tecmo pedigree, as it’s being developed jointly by Omega Force and Team Ninja.

If you want to see more of the Nintendo Switch version of the game (the 3DS version isn’t being shown all that much, for now),  you can also watch a new trailer another recent trailer showing Cordelia in action, one showing Robin and her magic, a video showing the bond system, which was also showcasedwith screenshots.
