Today, Spike Chunsoft revealed the cover for the upcoming PS4 wrestling game Fire Pro Wrestling World.

A few months back, it was announced that the Japan-based wrestling promotion, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), would be partnering with the developer to bring the likeness of some of its stars to the isometric wrestling game. Now, it is certain that Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tetsuya Naito will be playable as they are gracing the cover of the PS4 version of Fire Pro Wrestling World.

The four wrestlers featured are some of the biggest stars in NJPW. The Cleaner, Kenny Omega, is the self-proclaimed leader of the Bullet Club — some would say Cody is but that is being settled at the G1 Special on July 7 — and current IWGP Heavyweight Champion after defeating Okada at Dominion earlier this month.

Although he lost, the Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada, is a four-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion who had the longest reign at 720 days with 12 successful title defenses.

Hiroshi Tanahashi is one of the most decorated in NJPW as a 7 time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, 2 time IWPG Intercontinental Champion, and 2 time IWGP Tag Team Champion. He had the most successful title defenses until Okada successfully defeated him at Wrestling Dontaku 2018.

Lastly, Tetsuya Naito is the leader of NJPW stable Los Ingobernables de Japon alongside Sanada, Evil, Takahashi, and Bushi. Not too long ago, he was the IWGP Intercontinental Champion until he faced Chris Jericho at Dominion and lost the title.

Spike Chunsoft officially released Fire Pro Wrestling World in December last year for PC. It mixes arcade and simulation style gameplay that lets you customize everything from your wrestler’s looks and moves to the art on the ring. Although NJPW wrestlers were not featured, it didn’t stop anyone from creating them and posting their creations to the Steam Workshop.

Fire Pro Wrestling World will release for PS4 on August 28. If you pre-order the game, you’ll receive a copy of an NJPW Bonus Almanac.
