Today, during the Great Pro Wrestling Festival 2018 event hosted in Tokyo, Japan, Spike Chunsoft announced that its popular retro-style wrestling title Fire Pro Wrestling World will come to PS4 this Summer.

On top of that, the developer announced a collaboration with the New Japan Pro Wrestling association, that will bring its wrestlers with their real names and looks into the game in summer 2018.

Yet, that’s not all. A story mode is in development, which will let players take to the ring as a young wrestler aiming to win the prestigious IWGP Heavyweight Championship, which is the top Japanese wrestling title.

Fire Pro Wrestling World since its early access release for PC impressed many back in July 2017, followed by a full release last December. At long last, PS4 players will be able to enjoy the game as well.

At the moment, the PS4 version doesn’t have a precise release date besides the “summer” window, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear more from the publisher.
