Firewatch Hides a Cool Easter Egg Paying Homage to The Last of Us by Naughty Dog

Game developers love to pay homage to each other, and recent indie darling by Camposanto Firewatch is no exception. The game includes an Easter Egg paying homage to¬†Naughty Dog’s masterpiece The Last of Us.

In one of the game’s supply caches, you can find a sweatshirt with the logo of the University of Eastern Colorado, and the game’s characters wonder why they would make a shirt for a university that doesn’t exist.

Thing is, though, that the University of Eastern Colorado does exist, in video games. It’s a location that Joel and Ellie visit in The Last of Us, and the sweatshirt in Firewatch reproduces the bighorn sheep emblem of the school, and its green and gold colors.
