Today Firewatch developer Campo Santo took to Twitter with a brief message to announce that the game has passed one million copies sold late last year.

Firewatch launched for PS4 and PC on February 9th, 2016, with an Xbox One release in tow on September 21st in North America, and on September 30th in Europe.

The high volume of sales appears to be certainly well deserved: the game won our Best Indie Game Award for 2016, and ended up as runner-up for Best Story, while Henry's voice actor Rich Sommers was runner-up for Best Voice Acting.

Firewatch also received votes from our writes for Game of the Year, Best Graphics, Best PS4 Game, and Best Character, while Delilah's voice actress Cissy Jones proved to be very popular as well.
