Today, the first 17 minutes of What Remains of Edith Finch from developer Giant Sparrow -- who you may recognize as the team behind indie darling Unfinished Swan -- has surfaced, courtesy of IGN.

As you may know, What Remains of Edith Finch was originally being published by Sony, but was dropped for unknown reasons. It was picked up by new publisher Annapurna Interactive. Notably, the game has been in development for over four years. Here’s a brief overview via Giant Sparrow:

What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she’s the last one in her family left alive. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.

What Remains of Edith Finch will cost $19.99 USD when it launches tomorrow on PS4 and PC, April 25th. However, if you preorder the game on PS4-- today is your last to do so -- you will receive a 20% discount.

Below, you can check out the first 17 minutes of the game. Additionally, you can check out its trophies, which went live yesterday.
