Fans of the Forza Horizon series may remember that the third entry in the series saw a special Hot Wheeles themed DLC arrive shortly after launch. Well, it looks like that may once again be the case with Forza Horizon 5 as a Hot Wheels DLC page briefly appears on Steam.

It should come as no surprise that the Hot Wheels DLC would once again be returning to the Forza series, as both Forza Horizon 3 and 4 both received some form of expansion or DLC pack featuring the popular Hot Wheels franchise.

The developers of the Forza series have been known to release two major DLC packs for each new entry in the series, with the first usually being slightly more "out there", so to speak. Forza Horizon 4's first DLC pack saw a Lego-inspired expansion, followed by a more realistic approach with the Fortune Island DLC.

Forza Horizon 5 DLC Page Appears With Hot Wheels DLC

It was recently noticed by a Reddit user that the Steam store page for 'Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle' featured a banner image for the game's first expansion pack. The Steam banner has since been removed but can be seen in the tweet below via

Unfortunately, an exact release date for the Forza Horizon 5 x Hot Wheels DLC wasn't noticed on the Steam page. However, given the release dates of previous DLC pieces for Forza titles, fans can likely expect it to arrive in the coming weeks.

Fans on Reddit had mixed feelings about the release of another Hot Wheels DLC. Some believed that the expansion had now been overdone, whilst others believed it was some of the most fun they had in the Forza series.

Of course, it may seem likely that Forza Horizon 5's first piece of DLC will be Hot Wheels themed, but we recommend taking this news with a pinch of salt until it's made official by the developers.
