October is known as the month where horror themed media releases. That includes the lovely medium of video games. Developer Aetheric Games and publisher Pixeljam are celebrating the haunting month by bringing its new horror title Bonbon to Steam.

Originally released in August, the first-person title brings you through several childhood events with nightmarish results. In moments where your parents are absent, you will spend time with Bonbon, a "large" and "overbearing visitor" that will certainly cause a stir.

Progressing through Bonbon may require you to perform some simple objectives. However, the game is mostly about the terrifying atmosphere and horrifying events that occur throughout your childhood.

Last week, a trailer released flaunting some of the environments through a series of mysterious vignettes. The trailer ends as we see a silouhette that may belong to Bonbon.

The game can be played with a mouse and keyboard or a 360-style gamepad and will take between 20 to 40 minutes to experience depending on how much of your haunting childhood you decide to explore.

Bonbon is available right now on PC for the low price of $2.99. To celebrate its launch on Steam, you can purchase the game for 15% off until the promotion ends on November 1, so act fast!
