The latest issue of the Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation revealed the first screenshots of Tokyo Xanadu, the new PS Vita exclusive JRPG by Nihon Falcom, scheduled for release this year (at least in Japan) for PS Vita.

The game will tell the story of Kou Tokisaka and Asuka Hiiragi, and will be set both in the real world and in an alternate dimension named Another World, where the two and their companions will fight using weapons called “Soul Devices”

You can check out the screenshot and artwork below, including a PS Vita theme dedicated to the game.¬†Of course, remember that they’re from magazine scans, so the quality isn’t as good as actual direct feed screenshots, but they’re definitely good enough to give us the first glimpse on the game.
