505 Games and OtherSide Entertainment have finally launched the first trailer for the upcoming immersive sim Underworld Ascendant.
Recently, 505 Games and OtherSide Entertainment finally released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming immersive sim Underworld Ascendant.
If you’re unfamiliar with Underworld Ascendant, it’s being developed by an immersive sim dream team that features the likes of Warren Spector, Paul Neurath, Joe Fielder, and Tim Stellmach who together have combined to work on various projects such as Thief, Deus Ex, System Shock, Bioshock Infinite, and many others. While immersive sims aren’t as common as they once were, this is the ideal team that you’d want to put together in 2018 to make a game of this kind.
The first trailer for Underworld Ascendant is only about a minute long and it highlights the world that the game takes place in. We also see some snippets of combat, puzzle solving, and some enemy types that you will run into over the course of the game.
In addition to this trailer, 505 Games also released a second video for Underworld Ascendant which features members of the development team at OtherSide Entertainment talking about the process of developing an immersive sim. If you’re a big fan of this genre, then you should find this video intriguing as it touches on the amount of care and detail the must be used to balance all of the gameplay systems found within games of Undeworld Ascendant‘s ilk.
You can find both of these new trailers for Underworld Ascendant below in successive order. Currently, Underworld Ascendant is scheduled to release on PC later this year with no further window having yet been provided.
