Today Sega revealed three new characters for the upcoming action-adventure title Hokuto Ga Gotoku, which takes the concepts of the Yakuza series and translates them into the Fist of the North Star world.

We get to see three familiar characters, and their artwork:

Toki is the second of the brothers of Hokuto, having studied the Hokuto Shinken art with Kenshiro from their early childhood. He was the best among the possible candidates for succession, but during the nuclear war he exposed himself to radiation in order to save Kenshiro and Yuria, becoming terminally ill. He attempts to use the Hokuto Shinken as an healing art.

Rei is the successor of the Nanto Suicho Ken. He has been looking for his sister, who was abducted by a man with seven scars on his chest. After receiving some information about her, he travels to Eden.

Airi is Rei’s sister. She was abducted by a mysterious man with seven scars on his chest under her brother’s eyes during her wedding ceremony. In desperation for what she was forced to see, she made herself blind with poison.

You can check them out below, and if you want to see more, you can check out the first character reveal, and the original announcement.

Recently, Sega also revealed the future of the Yakuza series (divided in two games, Yakuza Online and Shin Yakuza), and Yakuza Kiwami 2.

The game is being developed using the Yakuza Kiwami engine with the addition of a specific Toon Shader, and it will launch in 2018 in Japan exclusively for PS4.
