If there is one game that I'm really looking forward to, it's Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, also known as Hokuto Ga Gotoku in Japan.

The game is a delightful mix of the gameplay of the Yakuza franchise and the retro charm of one of the most beloved manga and anime series of all times, Hokuto no Ken.

If you want to see what it looks and sounds like in English, you have come to the right place, as Sega livestreamed a nice chunk of gameplay.

Boy, it looks good. I've played a large part of it in Japanese (before shelving it because they announced the western release, and I didn't want more spoilers), but it never gets old. Even the old cross-gen engine used for Yakuza 0 doesn't miss a beat thank to the anime-like shader that the developers used.

You can check out the gameplay below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the latest trailer, the video that came with the announcement of the western release, the Japanese launch trailer, and another batch of gameplay.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will be released in North America and Europe for PS4 only on October 2nd.
