The shock horror series Five Nights at Freddy's quickly became a big sensation with the first title's release in 2014, and following several other sequels developer Scott Cawthon took the series in a different direction with the RPG-inspired Five Nights at Freddy's World, which is now available freely to the public following an earlier removal from Steam.

Cawthon announced that Five Nights at Freddy's World is now available as a free download through GameJolt, with the title's re-release coming after its removal from Steam last month, where numerous users reported the game as being rushed too quickly and feeling unfinished.

In response to poor reviews and negative feedback from the game's Steam release, Cawthon removed the title from Steam and users that purchased the game were eligible to receive a refund, while promising to correct the errors and update the title with more content and fixes.

The new release of  Five Nights at Freddy's World includes "a remodeled open world and many other new features," while Cawthon also promises to expand on the title with more updates to come following the re-release.
