Sony Interactive Entertainment are celebrating the last Friday of August with a surprise flash sale. There are over 200 games on sale for under $10, so you wont feel too broke after your purchases.

While their is a lack of AAA titles within the last year, their is certainly something to pick up if you had missed anything throughout the PlayStation 4’s life cycle. For those who still have their PS3 still connected to their TVs may be able to find some PSOne Classics to pick up. The PS Vita also has some great games available, some of which may be cross-buy.

Here are some of my recommendations from this weekend’s flash sale:

  • PlayStation 4
    • Crypt of the Necrodancer – $2.99
    • Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edtion – $5.99
    • Dead Rising – $7.99
    • Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour – $5.99
    • Furi – $7.99
    • King’s Quest Complete Collection – $9.89
    • Overcooked: Gourmet Edition – $7.99
    • Resident Evil 4 – $9.99
    • Rogue Legacy – $4.29
    • Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition – $7.49
    • Steamworld Dig – $2.49
  • PlayStation 3
    • BioShock – $4.99
    • BioShock Infinite – $4.99
    • Dead Island: Game of the Year – $5.99
    • Metal Gear Solid (PSOne Classic) – $4.99
    • Silent Hill (PSOne Classic) – $2.99
    • Sleeping Dogs – $4.99
  • PlayStation Vita
    • Crypt of the Necrodancer – $2.99
    • Rogue Legacy – $4.29
    • Steamworld Dig – $2.49

You can check out the entire list of game available on the PlayStation Store on the PlayStation Blog.

My personal favorite from the list above is Cellar Door Games’ rogue-like platformer, Rogue Legacy, which DualShockers’ gave an 8.5.

The flash sale ends on August 28 at 8am Pacific time, so act fast!
