Flight of the Conchords Coming to Rockband. Is this a bad thing for me?

I know a lot of people have been talking about this already, but I would like to put in my two cents on this particular topic. As you already know, Flight of the Conchords is a show on HBO that focuses on two Icelandic musicians, Jermaine and Bret, who are trying to make it as musicians in New York, as well as the trials and tribulations of daily life. The show is very comedic and their songs are genius, but that is not my problem.

My problem is that I am a male with wavy hair, glasses,  long sideburns (down to my jawline), and I play music. I always get told that I look like Jermaine, and people always ask me to sing the Flight of the Conchords songs. Now, my nightmare is finally becoming a reality. Every time I go to anyone’s place to play Rockband, the first thing that will happen is going to be, “Hey, put on some Flight of the Conchords stuff and Evan can sing.” This is the sole reason that from this point forward, I will be avoiding Rockband in it’s entirety.

All joking aside, I actually look forward to the Flight of the Conchords songs being added to Rockband, but if any of you ask me to sing a Conchords song in Rockband, get me drunk first.
