Terrific news for PlayStation 4 gamers — according to a recent announcement trailer from PlayStation Experience 2017, Zoink Games’ Flipping Death will be coming to Sony’s console.

But what is Flipping Death? From the developers of Stick It to the ManFlipping Death shows a world where an over-worked Death (in Grimm Reaper form) takes a much-needed vacation. Meanwhile, your protagonist takes up the duties that come along with being “death incarnate,” which apparently means possessing ice cream cones. So clearly the title will have that signature, off-beat humor and art style of Zoink’s previous titles.

This isn’t the first we have heard of Flipping Death. The game was originally revealed in Nintendo’s February Nindie showcase earlier this year with no specified release date. Even at that time, we were told that the indie game would not be a Nintendo Switch exclusive — it was reportedly coming to other, unspecified consoles.

It was also noted that the Nintendo Switch version of Flipping Death would also get a physical release — it is unclear whether that will be extending to the PS4 version of the game.

In the announcement trailer (seen below) it was also detailed that the game should be expected Spring 2018, though it isn’t clear if that is for both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch or just the former. Either way, watch the PlayStation reveal below:
