HBO's The Last of Us TV Show continues shooting as behind the scenes footage has emerged, showcasing some rather intense scenes being shot in the street.

Following the huge success of both The Last of Us and The Last of Us: Part II, multiple feature films were reportedly in the works but both were cancelled. HBO eventually struck a deal with Naughty Dog in March of 2020 to adapt the PlayStation exclusive for TV.

The show will star Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, and Gabriel Luna as Tommy, alongside other stars such as Nick Offerman and Anna Torv.

With a stacked cast and high hopes from fans, HBO has got a lot of hype to live up to. Thankfully, fans have seen numerous behind the scenes footage in recent months, all living up to fan expectations. Now new footage from The Last of Us has once again given us all a sneak peek at what's to come, and things are starting to look intense.

New Footage From The Last of Us TV Show Emerges

As shared by a Last of Us TV Show fan account, filming for the HBO adaptation is still ongoing. The new scenes being filmed can be seen in the tweet below, with what appears to be military-style vehicles making their way through the streets as extras can be heard shouting "Fuck FEDRA" and "Freedom".

For those unaware, FEDRA is the Federal Disaster Response Agency, a government agency in charge of quarantine zones.

Many fans took to Reddit and Twitter to express their excitement over the new footage, with one fan saying it was their "favourite set leak footage [they've] seen so far. Even as a recording this felt like a real scene". Others speculated on where the scene would fit into the show, with one fan stating that they believe "this is the flashback scene for the Hunters" whilst another speculated that the scene could be "used for the opening title sequence. Montages of civilization collapsing".

For now, we'll have to wait and see. Make sure to check out the footage in the tweet below, courtesy of @HBOsTheLastofUs, and let us know in the comments section below what you think of this intense new scene.
