Ubisoft has announced the return of a special Halloween event called Return of the Underworld that'll be sure to keep fans busy over the spooky period.

With the recent launch of the Marching Fire expansion that saw the inclusion of the new Wu Lin faction, four new playable heroes, as well as new game modes, features, and a graphics overhaul, players can now jump into yet another Ubisoft treat.

In Return of the Underworld, which takes place between October 25 and November 8, the land will become overrun with armies of skeleton warriors as a special mode, challenges, quests, and rewards descend on the game just in time for Halloween. A new game mode that players are getting is called Endless March, which is a variation of the 4v4 Dominion Mode, and of course where soldiers appear as skeletons and deal a crazy amount of damage.

Weekly Arcade Quests will bring new challenges to the new PVE mode added with the Marching Fire expansion, while themed community orders will pit factions against each other in races to complete objectives and reap the biggest rewards.

What's Halloween without some masks? Halloween-themed treats will let Heroes of all factions and the recently added Wu Lin alter their appearance with the all-new Mask Outfits. Additionally, there will be new lootable items such as weapons, gear, and a new "Moonlight Sonata" effect. In the second week of the event, a Jack O'Lantern emote will become available too.

Return of the Otherworld event in For Honor is available from October 25 until November 8 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
