If you've been wanting to pick up For Honor but you don't feel like spending the full price for the game then you're in luck. Ubisoft has officially announced the Starter Edition for the game, which, as the name suggests, includes a limited amount of content from the game for a lower price, similar to a free trial or demo.

Right from the get-go, for the low price of $14.99, players will receive access to the Warden, Raider, and Kensei Vanguard Heroes. In addition to that, players will also have access to three other heroes after they choose which faction they want to align themselves with at the start of the game.

Of course, while you won't receive the remaining characters when you purchase the Starter Edition, players can unlock them for 8,000 steel each if they so choose. Beyond that, even if you purchase the Starter Edition, and you later choose that you want to unlock everything else, you can simply spend 50,000 steel on the All Heroes Bundle, and you'll receive just that.

For Honor Starter Edition is available right now on both Steam and Uplay, exclusively for Windows PC. As of the time of this writing, it's unknown whether or not PlayStation 4 or Xbox One players will be able to take advantage of this edition soon.
