Whether it be paid DLC or community events, ever since For Honor was released earlier this year, the game has received a pretty constant stream of new content. Well, it doesn't seem like developer Ubisoft is planning on stopping that support anytime soon -- it has officially announced Frost Wind Festival, a brand new, winter-themed event for the third-person action game, and it'll add a ton of new content when it launches.

First and foremost, players will receive access to a brand new game mode called Ice Brawlers. In it, two players will face each other over a lake with a thin layer of ice over the top of it. As each match progresses, the ice will begin to crack, so players will have to be cautious.

In addition to that, players will now be able to earn a slew of new items, including new outfits, weapons, effects, emotes, and more.

Frost Wind Festival is set to start in just a few days, on December 21, 2017, however, players will only have a limited time to earn the new items, as it's set to end on January 4, 2018.

To celebrate the announcement of the event, a brand new trailer was deployed, which shows off some of the new content that will be added. You can check out the video at the end of the article. For Honor was originally released on February 14, 2017, and is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
