Psychological is one of my favorite horror game subgenres; with notable franchises such as Dead Space and Dead Space fading into obscurity, one independent developer is looking to fill in the void with its upcoming title Forbidden Forgiveness.

Forbidden Forgiveness is a first-person horror game developed by Geeky Mouse. Although details on the game's story are scarce, the developers have stated that Forbidden Forgiveness will offer new and innovative ways to experience psychological horror. One of the game's most significant selling points is how the game will drastically alter depending on the choices you make. As players progress through the game's story, they will be able to navigate different dimensions, and the decisions they make will not only impact the game's story but also will alter which of the game's multiple endings you will receive.

As far as gameplay goes, players will be able to defend themselves from enemies using an Eye located on your hand, although, the developer has stated that there will be instances in the game where you will be left defenseless. Additionally, the game will require players to solve unique (yet reasonably challenging) puzzles.

Currently, Forbidden Forgiveness does not have a solid release date, other than Q4 2018. What we do know, however, is that the game will launch first on PC then on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date. For more information on the game, check out the Pre-Alpha teaser below this article:
