Former Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime to Teach at Cornell University

After leaving Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime has announced that he'll teach at Cornell University in New York.

Just a couple months after retiring as President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime has announced that he’ll start teaching at Cornell University in New York.

Reggie shared the news via Twitter saying that he’ll be teaching and mentoring students starting this academic year. Having graduated from Cornell back in 1983, his first talk as their Leader in Residence will commence on October 21 at Cornell’s Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. Additionally, the talk is free and open to the public.

During his talk, he’ll “share principles for you to master so you can cultivate your own leadership capability,” says Cornell’s official events page.”The principles are applicable to any situation, including now while you are a student or in your future endeavors.”

Reggie began his career with Nintendo back in 2003 as their Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and then he became their President and Chief Operating Officer in 2006. Over time, he became one of the main faces of the company as he appeared at events such as E3 and Nintendo Directs. After announcing his retirement, senior vice president of sales and marketing Doug Bowser took over as President.
