Former Sony Executive: No Man’s Sky Getting To This Point Is “a Miracle”

on August 7, 2016 2:06 PM

No Man’s Sky is very close to its release, that will happen in two days for PS4 (on August 9th) and a few days later for PC (on August 12th), and today former Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Strategic Content Director Shahid Ahmad talked about what happened behind the scenes to bring the project to this point under his own supervision and that of producer Ben Andac.

It’s certainly not hard to imagine that a project so ambitious and so hyped by a studio as small as Hello Games probably encountered many challenges along the way, not only from the point of view of development, but also on Sony’s side.

Yet, we’re now close to the goal. The game is about to release, and even comes with a sizable day one patch.

It’s nice to hear that, at times, miracles do happen.
