Former Sony Executive Talks New Studio, Platforms: PS4, PC and More: PS Vita? Unlikely with a Caveat
Yesterday former Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Strategic Content Director Shahid Kamal Ahmad announced his new solo studio Ultimatum Games, and today he took to Twitter again to talk about platforms and more:
A lot of people keep asking me about PS Vita. I think I probably gave more for Vita than anyone, so I don’t think I owe Vita. So, we’ll see.

Platforms I’m most interested in today: PS4, iOS, Steam/PC/Mac/Linux, PSVR, Android. Maybe Oculus and Vive. Vita a long shot.

That said, while Ahmad mentions that a PS Vita game from Ultimatum Games is unlikely, there is a caveat, as we might get a PS Vita version of his first title Chimera, just not from the Ultimatum Games brand itself.
To further confuse matters, @UltimatumUK is unlikely to make a Vita game, but I will at some point. I owe you a version of Chimera on it.

Incidentally, Ahmad also mentioned that Ultimatum Games is never going to work on a game that portrays meaningless humanoid death.
Corporate Statement: We will never do a game with meaningless humanoid death in it. (For “we”, read “I”)

It’ll certainly be interesting to see what kind of game will Ultimatum Games announce in the future. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait longer for that.
