Fortnite has seen a lot of in-game shenanigans transpiring throughout its lifetime, but one particular play has earned itself a permanent place within the game through a recent update.

Over the last week, an expedition from YouTuber Muselk saw him make his way down a cliffside in an attempt to rescue a player named “Chaperdoodle” who was trapped at the bottom with no means of escape. After descending down while creating a walkway, Muselk realized that he had miscalculated and couldn’t actually lay enough groundwork to rescue his fellow Fortnite player. So, in a desperate attempt, he rushed back to the top of the cliff and drove a golf kart down. He soon lost control of the vehicle, accidentally hitting Chaperdoodle and sending him hurtling out of bounds!

The clip gained a lot of traction online and even resulted in Fortnite sharing it via their official Twitter account.

The latest update to Epic’s battle royale game sees the studio acknowledging the Youtuber’s valiant, yet wacky, efforts. Next to the steep drop where the initial video took place, Epic has built a memorial to Chaperdoodle, accompanied by a set of wheels.

Ill-fated Chaperdoodle’s tombstone isn’t the only thing available in Fortnite’s recent update. The patch also works a number of new elements into the game including a SMG weapon.

Fortnite is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac and iOS.
