Fortnite is one of the most frequently updated games, with the developers adding new content in the form of cosmetics, challenges, and maps quite often. With so much content being added to the game, there are some infrequent bugs that surface now and then. However, Epic Games is quite generous in compensating players for the bugs which surface in the game. We have seen several compensatory rewards being given out in the past for these bugs, and Epic Games is giving out one more reward to its players.

Recently, Epic Games launched the Vanishing Point bundle, which will be giving players a number of items as part of the bundle. It will be including the Whiteout skin, Overtaker skin, Ignition, Lane Splitter back blings, and finally, the White Squall glider. However, the featured image of the bundle showed that players will also be getting the Clutch Axe pickaxe as part of the bundle. That was in fact, an error, as the bundle doesn't contain the Clutch Axe pickaxe.

Epic Games was quick to rectify the error, and also compensate players for it. The developers made an announcement that the pickaxe was being displayed erroneously, and while it's fixed, players who bought the bundle while the featured image was wrong, will still get the pickaxe added to their account within the next seven days. Do note that if you get the bundle right now, you will not be getting the pickaxe as the featured image has now been fixed.

Considering that the error was pretty small, to begin with, and the contents were displayed correctly inside, it is quite generous of Epic Games to give out the pickaxe for free. Players should expect to see the pickaxe being added to the inventory in the next few days.
