With the one year anniversary of Fortnite's release coming right around the corner, Epic Games has decided to add a whole slew of new challenges and rewards for a limited time.
Starting next week on July 24, Fortnite will be receiving a new limited time in-game event that will allow players to receive birthday themed rewards by completing quests and challenges. The full list of challenges and subsequent rewards for this event are as follows:

Deal 1,000 damage to opponents to unlock the Fortnite Birthday! Emoticon

Dance at different birthday cakes to unlock the Happy Birthday! Spray

Play 14 matches to unlock 5,000 XP.

Complete all 3 challenges to earn the Birthday Cake Back Bling
Additionally, a new birthday questline will be added to Fortnite's Save the World mode. Those who complete this quest will be able to earn the Birthday Brigade Ramirez hero for themselves. You can also earn tickets to spend on special birthday llamas which contain heroes and weapons from all events that have taken place this year.
Events like this will surely help Epic Games continue to bring players back and will continue to increase upon the over one billion dollars that Fortnite has already earned. This birthday event will be available next week on all of Fortnite's platforms -- Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Switch.
