We're only a matter of days away from the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 and the upcoming Finale Live Event, and Epic Games has revealed the official start time and date for when it all goes down.

We've had 8 full seasons of build-up, but it's finally time to take on The Cube Queen in one last stand for the fate of the Island. The Live Event will support large parties of up to 16 players and will also reward you with 225,00XP if you log into Fortnite before the end of the Season.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Live Event Start Time and Date

The next Fortnite Live Event, also known as the 'The End', will take place on Saturday, December 4th at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM GMT.

Epic Games recommend players log into Fortnite a total of 30 minutes before the live event begins, as servers may come under pressure due to a large number of players taking part in the event.

Can You Play The Live Event More Than Once?

Unfortunately, the upcoming 'The End' Live Event will only happen once, so you need to be in-game at the exact time mentioned above to take part. Previous live events have taken place at multiple different times across the course of a few days, but that will sadly not be the case with the Chapter 2 Finale Event.

The reason for this is that Fortnite will be entering into an extended amount of server downtime following the live event. Servers are expected to be offline for a total of 3 days immediately after the event, meaning players won't be able to play again until Tuesday, December 7th. However, this has yet to be made official by Epic Games.
