With only a few days left until the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, we're all eager to know what a brand new chapter will hold for us on the Battle Royale island.

Fortnite Chapter 2 'The End' Live Event
Before we delve into Chapter 3, we've got one more thing left to do in Chapter 2, and that's to take down The Cube Queen in 'The End' Chapter 2 Live Event.
For those that don't know, the Chapter 2 Finale Live Event, also known as 'The End' Event, will take place on Saturday, December 4th at 4PM ET. You'll only be able to play the live event once, so make sure you're in-game at least 30 minutes beforehand to take part.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Release Date
Unfortunately, we won't be spat right into Chapter 3 Season 1 when the live event is over. Similar to the end of Chapter 1, there will be an extended amount of server downtime.
According to TweaBR, a reliable leaker and data miner in the Fortnite community, downtime is expected to last for 3 days. Once servers are back online Chapter 3 Season 1 of Fortnite will begin, the date for this is expected to be Tuesday, December 7th.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass and Skins
Details surrounding Chapter 3 Season 1 are still yet to be announced, but fans can certainly expect a brand new Battle Pass to arrive at the beginning of the Season.
Epic Games are known to change up the format of certain features at the beginning of new seasons and chapters. We recently saw a change to the way in which the Battle Pass works, instead of levelling it up one tier at a time, players were able to select items per page and unlock them in the order that they wanted to.
We may see this continue into Chapter 3, or Epic Games might have other ideas to mix up the new Battle Pass once again. Regardless of how you level up your Battle Pass, players can expect new skins, emotes, wraps, wallpapers, v-bucks, and more to feature in the Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass.
Speaking of skins, there's plenty of new collabs on the way in Chapter 3. According to various leakers in the community, Fortnite will be receiving skins for Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Book of Boba Fett, and The Matrix: Resurrections.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Leaks, Rumours, and Speculation
As well as plenty of new skins arriving in Chapter 3, players can also expect new gameplay changes and features. HYPEX, another prominent Fortnite leaker, recently revealed that there will be a large number of UI changes coming in Chapter 3.
The leaker also went on to reveal that Seagulls will feature as a new flying animal, but what their actual purpose will be is still unknown.
