Apart from the regular updates Fortnite gets, there are a series of weekly challenges that are released every week, awarding players with XP which can be used to level up the battle pass. For this week, players need to throw explosives while looking away to get 15,000 XP.

While the majority of the challenges are quite straightforward every week, there are always a few of them which pose some trouble for players. This week has only seven challenges, but a couple of them are quite tricky, and players are not able to complete them.

What Are Explosives In Fortnite?

Veteran players might be well aware of what explosives are, so it shouldn't be that big of a problem for them to find the weapon they need for this challenge. However, if you are new, you should know that Fortnite has a diverse list of explosives. Ideally, one would think that explosives would comprise grenades, but it should be noted that it also consists of rocket launchers, gas cans, propane tanks, and grenade launchers. So you can use any of these items to complete the challenge, as long as you are looking away while doing it.

How To Use Explosives While Looking Away

Coming to completing the challenge itself, there are multiple ways to do it. The easiest way that players have discovered is using a boat along with a rocket launcher. All you need to do is fire the rocket launcher from a distance apart while riding the boat, and then immediately turn around. When the rocket hits the shore it will likely deal damage to structures around it and you should get the XP for completing the challenge. While this is quite straightforward, it might still take a few tries since dealing damage with the explosion is something that is slightly uncertain.

The other way is shooting at gas stations and making them explode. Players should wait until it's on fire, and then quickly turn around. As compared to the boat trick, this is much easier to pull off and is bound to work perfectly, unless you mess up the timing of the turn.
