Nobody can be too sure when Chapter 3 of Fortnite is set to kick-off, but one fan has taken it upon themselves to design an awesome concept of what the new map could look like when it does finally arrive.
In October of 2019, fans were shocked to find that there would be no 'Season 11' and that Epic Games instead had something much bigger up their sleeves.
Following the destruction of the Fortnite Island via a giant black hole, the game went down for a total of 12 hours, with nothing but a black screen to look at. Fans were sent into a frenzy until a brand new Chapter of Fortnite began, with a complete map overhaul, a new look, new features, and plenty more.
As mentioned previously, nobody's too sure when Chapter 3 is set to begin, but fans are hopeful that an epic live event will lead us into a brand new map once again.

Fortnite Fan Designs Epic Chapter 3 Map Concept
Fortnite fan and Reddit user /u/Edmire2k took it upon themselves to mock up what they believe the Fortnite Chapter 3 Map/Island could look like when it finally arrives.
Interestingly enough, the map isn't just an amazing concept, as Edmire2k claims to have inside information regarding Chapter 3 and has based his concepts on what he believes the map will look like. In a reply to one fan, he states that he has "a buddy who works with epic". Unfortunately, there's no way to know if this is true, so it's best to err on the side of caution.
Regardless of whether this is based on inside information or it's just a fan mockup, you can check out the design below to see the epic concept piece.

It appears that the concept went through a few phases and tweaks before reaching the final version. Some fan favourites can still be found such as Tilted Towers and Pleasant Park, but also some new POIs such as Sharky Shrubs and Monster Mansion.
One of the most impressive parts of the concept is the way there appear to be separate biome islands to travel to. The northeast of the island has a snowy 'Glossy Glacier' section, whilst the southwest features a desert biome called 'Dusty Desert'.
