What Does Fortnite Flipped Mean on Twitter?

Fortnite flipped is a brand new trend that will allow players to uncover the game’s brand new map that is all set for Chapter 3’s first big season.

It’s a great marketing tool by Epic, which when the hashtag #FortniteFlipped is tweeted, will flip players Twitter Icons around.

In doing so, players will be recommended to visit fliptheisland.com. The premise of it all is simple – the more players that tweet the hashtag, the more of the new map Epic Games will reveal.

The first part of the island, a snowy area in the northwest has already been revealed and it’s likely the rest will follow very soon. Especially as it’s being advertised in Times Square in New York, alongside a tease for the game’s latest crossover with the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

The Avenger was teased as part of the live event with a Spider-Man backpack seen floating through the ocean after the previous map was destroyed.

What an exciting time to be a Fortnite fan.
