The update 17.20 also adds Bugha's Late Game arena mode that will be available later today until July 28. If you manage to earn over 1500 Hype points, you will be able to join the main tournament on July 28 and get a share of the $100,000 prize pool.

How to Enable Preferred Item Slots in Fortnite

In order to use the new feature in the gameplay, you will need to visit the Game tab in the Settings menu. There, you will find the option to enable Preferred Item Slots.

The default formation of the Preferred Item Slots will save Assault Rifles in the first slot, Shotguns in the second slot, and consumables in the fifth slot. The 3 and 4 slots remain unassigned, which will be assigned by the player. You can choose to assign pistols, snipers, or throwing items - i.e. grenade - to each one of the unassigned slots.

If you wouldn't like the new feature, you can turn it off and use the previous model of inventory.

Fortnite is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The mobile version of the game is only available for Android devices for now. Also, it's worth noting that Xbox players no longer need active Xbox Live subscriptions to play Fortnite or any other free-to-play game.
