Unfortunately, despite fixing a number of issues, the recent update was rolled out with a few bugs that ended up removing the FNCS outfit temporarily.
Yesterday, Epic Games brought back the aforementioned skin to the Item Shop after applying the required fixes. And today, a new maintenance patch has been deployed for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players.
Fortnite PS4/PS5 Update Patch Notes Today
- We’ve just released a maintenance patch on PlayStation consoles and Android to address stability issues.
If you are already inside the game, you need to close the game on your console and re-launch it to be able to download the new update.
We haven’t heard anything from Epic Games upon getting a similar update for Xbox, Nintendo, or PC versions of the game. So, it’s probably a PlayStation-specific issue at the moment.
The size of the update is not expected to be beyond 1GB, so it would be a quick download for most players around the world.
Fortnite is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC.
The game is still, banned from Apple’s App Store, but iOS players will be able to play Fortnite through the GeForce Now subscription on their device, though it actually turns a free-to-play game into a subscription-based title for Apple users.
