Epic Games' Battle Royale hit Fortnite has recently just jumped into a brand new chapter for its second season. This chapter finds the Fortnite and Marvel universe crossing over with one another, with popular Marvel superheroes and villains being available to purchase as skins. To continue the promotion of the new chapter, Marvel Entertainment has shown off some covers that feature the Marvel characters and Fortnite characters.

The covers were tweeted out, as you can find below, and were created by numerous artists. The cover that features She-Hulk holding a Fortnite character above her head was created by Sara Pichelli. The one cover featuring Captain America was created by Ed McGuinness. The Marauders cover was created by Russell Dauterman, and the Guardians of the Galaxy one featuring that llama was created by Javier Garron.

There are more covers by other artists yet to still be revealed and have been created by artists such as Giuseppe Camuncoli, Adam Kubert, Iban Coello, and more. The full list of covers expected to be revealed is detailed on the official website.

In addition to the pretty covers that are said to be revealed throughout September and October, there's also a comic that features the explanation for the crossover. The story itself has been written by Donny Cates and drawn by Greg Land. In Fortnite, the chapter update is titled Nexus War which is detailed to be taking place in between the panels of Thor 2020 #4. You can read the comic here or directly on the official Marvel Entertainment website. Additionally, the comic is available to read directly within Fortnite.

Fortnite's update landed last week and sees players able to harness superhero powers as they battle against not only other players but NPC enemies in specific sections of the map. A new Battle Pass also introduces new Marvel skins and there's even the new starting area that's set on the famous helicarrier. The game is available to play for free on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.
