Chapter 3 of Fortnite has officially arrived and fans are loving the new content, map, and gameplay mechanics. However, there have been some serious server issues, along with the removal of the Split Screen feature.

Why Is Split Screen Not In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1?
At the beginning of Chapter 3 Season 1 on December 5th, players quickly discovered that the Split Screen option in Fortnite had been removed. According to iFireMonkey, a prominent leaker in the Fortnite community, the feature has been removed but is set to return in the future. Epic Games are reportedly on the case in getting the feature back into the game.

When Will Split Screen Return To Fortnite?
Unfortunately, there’s no solid answer for when split-screen will return to Fortnite. However, as mentioned previously, the removal isn’t permanent and is simply due to technical issues.
Although fans are loving Chapter 3 Season 1, there have been a lot of server issues since the launch earlier today. The official Fortnite Twitter account responded to the outage stating that it was the biggest Chapter launch in the game’s history.
So, it’s clear that Epic Games have a lot on their plate at the minute, but reports suggest that they are working on getting the split screen feature back in the game as soon as possible.
