January 22, 2021

Fortnite and its crossovers continue to impress. This week, we’ve already had confirmation that the fearsome Predator was joining the fray and now, from the Terminator series, the game has added both Sarah Connor and The T-800 items.

In a blog post, Epic Games confirmed that a bunch of items from the Terminator series would be featured items in the Fortnite Item Shop. The post says:

“It doesn’t matter if they’re coming from 1984 or 2029, the legendary Sarah Connor and relentless T-800 are the latest hunters to join the hunt and are available today in the Future War Set — now available in the Item Shop.”

Included in the Future War bundle, which costs 2800 V-Bucks, are two “ready-for-battle” outfits for Sarah Connor, the T-800 Endoskeleton Arm Back Bling and Combat Knife item. If you’re looking to play as the T-800 instead, the pack includes the skin, a custom emote and the HK Sky Net Uplink Back Bling and Techno-Grip Axe. Both Sarah Connor and the T-800 can be purchased separately for 1800 and 1500 V-Bucks respectively.

DUALSHOCKERS VIDEO OF THE DAY

Fortnite has continued its pulling powers in terms of bringing major franchises into the game throughout Chapter 2, Season 5. Alongside both The Predator and Terminator skins, Epic Games has added Master Chief from the Halo series and Kratos from the God of War series to the game. Epic has also partnered with top football clubs, including Manchester City FC, Inter Milan and Seatle Sounders FC for the new Pelé Cup which kicked off on January 20.

Fortnite is available now on mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Epic has released an enhanced version of the game for both Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles which includes 4K resolution and a “smooth” frame rate of 60 FPS.
