Fortnite Update for Today, September 3 - Patch Notes and File Size

Fortnite has received a minor update today that improves the stability and tackles some issues with the Crew Protocol back bling.

Fortnite has always been known for its lightning-fast support team in wiping out various issues and fixing the game’s troublesome bugs.

Just a few minutes earlier, Epic Games revealed that a new update will go live for Fortnite that improves the game’s performance and increases stability while wiping out a bug that causes the Crew Protocol back bling not to show up on login.

Fortnite Update for Today, September 3 – Patch Notes

  • Addressing stability issues and the Crew Protocol back bling not showing up on login.

The maintenance is live on all platforms of Fortnite right now. This will require players to download an update weighing around 200 MB. The maintenance on Nintendo Switch might last a little bit longer compared to other platforms.

What’s Next for Fortnite?

Currently, We are almost at the final weeks of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. The leaks around the next season have been close to zero, but before that, it’s expected to finish the current season with a big finale full of surprising content.

Season 7 of Chapter 2 in Fortnite was already an incredible period as the game launched the highly popular Rift Tour, featuring Ariana Grande as one of the most praised young pop stars of the world.

Many believe that Rift Tour will be back in the next season with more famous singers such as Doja Cat.

Fortnite is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android. The fate of the game’s iOS version is still unknown as both Apple and Epic Games are waiting for the conclusion of the trial.
