September 16, 2021

It goes without saying that Epic Games Fortnite is one of the biggest titles in the history of video games.

With a rabid player base that’s well into the millions, there’s always bound to be something that goes wrong but thankfully, Epic are usually always on the ball.

That’s what’s happened today, with the company releasing a maintenance patch for players on PC, PS4 and PS5.

So, if you’ve just received a Fortnite Update on September 16, here are all of the details you need to know, including the patch notes that have been revealed.

Are There Any Big Changes In This Update?

Unfortunately not, with the new season getting underway in Fortnite on Monday, there’s no real need for any more major content. Players were treated to a new story, new weapons, new NPCs, new challenges and much, much more.

What’s more likely is the fact that Monday’s update caused these issues, which Epic Games is now having to correct with today’s maintenance patch.

Fortnite Update on September 16 – Details and Patch Notes

September 16th’s Fortnite update went live at around 1pm BST/8am EST for players on Android Phones, PC, PS4 and PS5.

It’s a small maintenance patch that will help fix the following problems:

  • Stability Issues
  • The Funding Progress Vital Issue
  • Creative Keybinds Resetting to Default Issue

Sadly, there’s nothing more exciting than that until (likely) the next update, 18.10 rolls around and we get the continuation of Kevin the Cube’s resurgence within the game.
