Fortnite has been one of the most successful free-to-play games in the world over the last few years thanks to Epic Games’ incredible support. The wide variety of events, cosmetics, content, and features that are continuously being added to Fortnite is the main reason that the game always feels alive and breathing.

Today, Epic Games announced yet another new event-based feature for Fortnite that will bring in new weekly stuff to get you more familiar with the game’s gameplay mechanic while varying your weekly experience.

What is Fortnite Wild Weeks?

The Wild Weeks is a brand new feature in the game that emphasizes unique gameplay dynamic every week. This week, for instance, is going to be the week of Fighting Fire With Fire, emphasizing the ability of players to set fire on structures with various weapons such as the Fortnite Flare Gun.

The Wild Weeks theme for this week, starting as of today, unlocks Flare Gun as well as Flame Bows and Fireflies. It’s worth noting that during this week of Fortnite, fire will spread much faster and deal more damage. So, it might be time to add some explosives to your inventory.

Fortnite is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The iOS version of the game will be decided as soon as the legal clash between Epic Games and Apple reaches a result.
