One of the biggest Fortnite collaborations around returns for May the 4th as fans eagerly await the return of the infamous Star Wars skins, weapons, and more.

Epic Games deployed the v20.30 content update today, which included plenty of new skins, challenges, and changes to the island. But one of the biggest additions in today's update was the reveal of new and returning Star Wars cosmetic items.

Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 is officially Star Wars Day, so today's content update couldn't have come at a better time. If you're dying to get your hands on some Star Wars skins and cosmetics in Fortnite, here's everything you need to know about the returning collab for 2022.

Fortnite x Star Wars Leaks Reveal New Lightsaber, Rifle, and More

UPDATE: Epic Games has now confirmed the Star Wars x Fortnite Event will last for two weeks. Full details can be found on their official website here.

ORIGINAL STORY: Various Fortnite leakers such as ShiinaBR and iFireMonkey have revealed plenty of details surrounding the return of the Star Wars collaboration.

Alongside the return of the original Lightsabers, a brand new Lightsaber belonging to Obi-Wan Kenobi was found in the game files. ShiinaBR speculated that this could mean an Obi-Wan Kenobi skin could also be about to debut. This would line up well with the release of the new Disney+ show, which is set to premiere on May 27th.

Lightsabers aren't the only returning Star Wars weapon for 2022 either, as iFireMonkey revealed the infamous E-11 Blaster Rifle would be returning. The stats for the rifle can be found below:

  • Damage to player = 30
  • Magazine size = 1000000
  • Fire rate = 4.75
  • Reload time = 2

There will also be plenty of challenges for players to complete, check them out below:

  • Survive storm phases while carrying a lightsaber
  • Damage opponents within 30 meters using the E-11 Blaster Rifle
  • Complete a bounty from a Stormtrooper
  • Drive a vehicle from Chonker's Speedway or Logjam Lumberyard to a Stormtrooper Checkpoint
  • Land at a Stormtrooper Checkpoint, then place top 25
  • Block hits using a lightsaber

Fans can also expect the classic Star Wars skins from previous years to return to the item shop on May 4th, giving players another chance to purchase them. Epic Games has confirmed the following skins will be returning:

  • Finn
  • Rey
