Forza Horizon 3 has been available for well over a year now and while the open-world racing title isn't the latest experience in the Forza franchise, players of the game on Xbox One X will find a new reason to jump back into the driver's seat thanks to plenty of new visual updates for the racing game coming today.

Microsoft has announced that Forza Horizon 3 is now one more of the titles that will support visual enhancements on Xbox One X, with a post on Xbox Wire and a new trailer showing the racing title in action on the system.

Specifically, the enhancements that players can expect to find for the title on Xbox One X include native 4K resolution and several additional upgrades, such as "improved car reflections and shadow resolutions," "improved texture detail for road and terrain surfaces," and more.

In addition to the enhancements for the base game, Microsoft also detailed that Xbox One X support will also extend to the Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels expansions for Forza Horizon 3.

The update itself will be arriving starting at 10am PST today, January 15th, and will be available as a free update for all Forza Horizon 3 players on Xbox One X. For a closer look at the game's support for the enhanced system, you can check out a new trailer for the update below:
